Terms of Service
Last Updated: November 2, 2025
1) Acceptance of Terms
By using AI Colorado websites or attending AI Education Day: Colorado, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2) Who may participate
Participation is open to Colorado residents and guests. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must consent to registration and photo rules. We do not offer programming directed to children under 13.
3) Registration and accuracy
You agree to provide accurate information. Free seats are limited by county. We may verify eligibility and cancel duplicate or abusive registrations.
4) Code of Conduct
We require a respectful, safe learning space. No harassment. No discrimination. No doxxing. No threats. Follow venue rules and moderator directions. Violations may result in removal and future bans. See [aicolorado.org/conduct]. Public events and venues are subject to ADA Title III and Colorado's public accommodations law. Hosts must provide accessible entry, seating, communications aids where reasonable, and reasonable modification of policies.
5) Accessibility commitment
We aim to make every site accessible. If you need an accommodation, contact support@aicolorado.org at least 10 days before your session. We will work with you and the host venue in good faith.
6) Event changes and force majeure
We may move, reschedule, or cancel sessions due to safety, facilities, or other causes beyond our control. We will notify registrants at the email on file.
7) Photography and recording
Events are photographed and recorded. We use crowd notices at entrances and registration pages. If you do not wish to appear in recordings, tell a staff member on arrival. For close-up promotional uses, we obtain a model release when a person is identifiable. Some uses require an individual release even with a crowd notice.
8) User submissions and session content
You may receive slides, prompts, or other materials. Unless a license states otherwise, these are for personal educational use only. You must not repost, resell, or commercialize them without permission. If you submit content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use it for program operations and education, with attribution where practical.
9) Intellectual property and DMCA
We respect copyright. If you believe materials on our site infringe your rights, send a notice to our DMCA Agent at support@aicolorado.org or mail to [address] with the information required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3). We will remove or disable access to alleged infringing content and may terminate repeat infringers.
10) Acceptable use
Do not scrape, spam, probe, or disrupt our services. Do not upload malware or unlawful content. If we enable forums or chats, keep discussions on topic and lawful.
11) Third-party tools and links
Sessions may use tools from third parties. Their terms and privacy policies apply. We are not responsible for third-party sites and services.
12) Health and safety
Follow posted safety rules. If you feel unwell, do not attend in person. We may apply health policies responsive to public guidance.
13) Volunteers, moderators, and hosts
Moderators and volunteers are not our employees unless stated. Volunteers must follow our safety and conduct rules. Colorado law provides certain immunities for qualified volunteers. This does not shield willful or wanton misconduct.
14) Release of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by Colorado law, you release AI Colorado, its officers, employees, volunteers, and hosts from claims for ordinary negligence arising from attendance at an event, except where prohibited by law. This does not waive claims for gross negligence, willful or wanton conduct, or violations of statute. The release is conspicuous, clear, and fairly entered.
15) Disclaimers
Events and content are provided "as is". We do not warrant accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose. Education is not professional advice. You are responsible for how you use tools you learn about.
16) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted, AI Colorado is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for claims relating to the services will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars.
17) Communications and e-signatures
You consent to receive emails about your registration and sessions. You agree that clicking to accept these Terms creates an electronic signature enforceable under the E-SIGN Act. You may withdraw consent by contacting us, though some services may require electronic notices to function.
18) Dispute resolution and arbitration
Before filing a claim, contact support@aicolorado.org and we will try to resolve it within 30 days. If we cannot, and except for small claims court, disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the AAA under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The seat is Colorado. Fees and procedures follow the AAA Consumer Due Process Protocol. Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court. You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing support@aicolorado.org with your name and the email used to register. Class actions and class arbitrations are not allowed.
19) Termination
We may suspend or end access for violations. You may stop using our services at any time.
20) Changes
We may update these Terms. The effective date appears at the top. If changes are material, we will notify registered users.
21) Governing law
Colorado law governs these Terms, without regard to conflict rules. The Federal Arbitration Act governs arbitration.
22) Severability and waiver
If a clause is invalid, the rest remains effective. A waiver is not ongoing unless stated in writing.
